RESOLUTION NO. 12111 <br /> DES:djk 1~/02/93 (014/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 12/13/93 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12111 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF MATERIALS FOR <br /> THE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of pipe, fittings and related <br />materials for the water main replacement project in the Woodside <br />Plaza Alley Area; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br />received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Edward S. Walsh Co. of San Jose, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br />Edward S. Walsh Co.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Edward S. Walsh Co. for the sale of <br />materials for the water main replacement project to the City of <br />Redwood City in the amount of Eighteen Thousand One Hundred <br />Twenty and 02/100 Dollars ($18,120.02) in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated November 23, 1993, is hereby accepted, <br />and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement <br />for said equipment. <br /> _...~. ..0_·..· .".".....--~ "... <br />
