RESOLUTION NO. 12108 <br /> DES:djk 11/23/93 (011/37) <br /> DES:djk !/06/93R <br /> o RIG I N A L 12/6/93 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12108 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF THREE <br /> VEHICLES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br /> DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of three <br />( 3) vehicles to be used for police investigation purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were <br />received; and <br /> WHEREAS, S & C Ford, Inc. of San Francisco, and Park <br />Chevrolet of Redwood City, California are the lowest responsible <br />bidders and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />accept the bids thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. The bid of S & C Ford, Inc. , in the total amount of <br />Thirty-five Thousand Five and 29/100 Dollars ($35,005.29) , <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated November <br />10, 1993 for the sale of Vehicles #1 and #3 and the bid of <br />Park Chevrolet, in the total amount of Sixteen Thousand Five <br />Hundred Seventy-five and 51/100 Dollars ($16,575.51) , computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated October 29, 1993 for <br />the sale of Vehicle #2, which bids are on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, are hereby accepted, and said bidders are <br /> _."'--"-~"--" ...,.~._.....- ".".' -..,.. <br />
