RESOLUTION NO. 12103 <br /> DES:djk 11/16/93 (008/37) <br />.. .. o RIG I N A L 11/29/93 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12103 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> FLEET MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM SOFTWARE AND BAR <br /> CODING EQUIPMENT UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF VENTURA BID #P94-008 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ventura, Bid #P94-008 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br />the opportunity to purchase equipment from Prototype <br />Incorporated; and <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Ventura conforms <br />to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase the Fleet Management Information System Software and Bar <br />Coding Equipment from Prototype, Incorporated pursuant to the <br />Cooperative Purchase provision of the City of Ventura Bid <br />#P94-008; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of the Fleet <br />Management Information System Software and Bar Coding Equipment <br />from Prototype Incorporated for a cost of Thirty-nine Thousand <br /> '"..., " -.---".
