<br />October 16, 1995(revised 11/20) EXHIBIT "A" <br />BKF No. P95446 <br />.1 Develop geometric alignment <br />.2 Prepare typical cross sections <br />.3 Analyze proposed grading and retaining wall requirements <br />.4 Develop utility relocation requirements <br />.5 Develop drainage requirements <br />.6 Determine right-of-way and easement requirements <br />.7 Incorporate HOV and ramp metering requirements <br />.8 Prepare value engineering exhibit specifying alternatives with cost estimates <br />.9 Prepare conceptual plan <br />.10 Prepare preliminary cost estimates <br />DELlVERABLES <br />1) Preliminary conceptual plans that identify the major design considerations for <br /> both the auxiliary lanes and the capacity improvements for the interchanges of <br /> Ralston Avenue and Holly Street. <br />2) Itemized cost estimate based upon the preliminary design. <br />3) Design alternatives for both of the interchanges. <br />2.3 FINALIZE CONCEPTUAL DESIGN <br />Upon the completion of the conceptual drawings and accompanying cost estimates, <br />BKF will present the plans, estimates and alternatives to the Policy and Technical <br />Committees. The presentation will include a review of the designs and their criteria. <br />The project costs will be reviewed. With the committees consensus, BKF will also· <br />present the conceptual designs and costs to Caltrans and the Transportation Authority. <br />DELlVERABLES <br />1) Conceptual plans for the two interchanges <br />2) Detailed cost estimates based upon the conceptual plans <br />2.4 CONCEPTUAL ASSESSMENT COSTS <br />BKF will conduct a conceptual spread of assessment costs to the commercial <br />development in the Redwood Shores Area on the scale that was provided in the first <br />phase of this project. <br />DELlVERABLES <br /> 4 <br /> ",....-.......-.., ~.,.,..- <br /> I <br />
