No. 7798 <br /> Exhibit 1 <br /> EXHIBIT 1 <br /> AGREEMENI <br />COST ALLOCATION - PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES <br />(REDWOOD SHORES TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT) <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 27th day of February , <br />1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California ("REDWOOD CITY"), and THE CITY OF BELMONT, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California ("BELMONT"); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, REDWOOD CITY, BELMONT AND SAN CARLOS require the <br />development of conceptual plans and a preliminary cost estimate for the Redwood Shores Traffic <br />Improvement Assessment District also known as the Shores Traffic Improvement District and the <br />Area Wide Traffic Improvement District (the "Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, REDWOOD CITY has entered into an agreement with Brian Kangas Foulk <br />for preparation of said conceptual plans and costs estimates by way of the agreement attached as <br />Exhibit A; and <br />WHEREAS, the Project mutually benefits the Cities of Redwood City, Belmont, and San <br />Carlos in certain respects; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire hereby to allocate certain costs of the Project based upon <br />said benefits; <br /> 1 <br /> "r" <br />
