GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> 1. Existin2: A2:reements. Vpon execution of this Agreement, any prior existing <br /> agreements between City and County for the provision of Animal Control <br /> Services will be terminated. <br /> 2. Sub-contractin2: for Services. It is expressly understood and agreed that the <br /> County will sub-contract with the Peninsula Humane Society, a California <br /> nonprofit corporation, or such other agency as the Board of Supervisors may <br /> designate, for the provision of Animal Control Services including field <br /> enforcement, shelter and treatment services referred to herein. <br /> a. Field Enforcement Services. County's subcontract shall provide staff for <br /> the provision of field enforcement services throughout the County for the <br /> purpose of enforcing state and local ordinances pertaining to domestic <br /> animals, as described in Exhibit "C". <br /> The County Contractor, County and City have established and agreed that <br /> County and City will be responsible for response to barking dog <br /> complaints within their own jurisdictions. <br /> b.
