Q ~ N O. 10944 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK T~ ACCEPT GRANTS OR DEEDS ON BEHALF <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND RE$CINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7101 <br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Gover~ment Code of the State of California <br />requires that deeds or grants conveying .ny interest in or easement upon real <br />estate to political corporations be accepted by the grantee prior to being <br />recorded; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provide$ a method whereby an officer or agent <br />may be authorized by the political corpotation to accept such deeds or grants <br />on its behalf; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TH~,CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That Arlyn C. Jorgenson, City C~erk of the City of Redwood City, be <br />and she hereby is authorized to accept, dn behalf of the City of Redwood City, <br />all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement upon real estate to the <br />City of Redwood City. ' <br /> 2.
