Project was described in the Five Year Capital Improvement Program study session on <br />May 8, 2017, and the Project will be advertised for bids once the City’s share is fully <br />funded. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose not to enter into the Agreement or direct staff to alter the terms of <br />the Agreement. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />If the resolution is adopted, the Various Transportation Grants Fund in the Fiscal Year <br />2016-2017 budget will be increased by $90,736, equal to the initial deposit plus <br />contingency. <br /> <br />The Agreement will authorize the City to receive an initial deposit of $69,790 from the <br />developer in accordance with the Agreement terms, and up to $20,946 contingency in <br />the event that actual Project costs exceed the estimated Project costs. City funds for the <br />Project have not been appropriated at this time, and the total Project costs and <br />contingencies and their funding sources are intended to be as follows: <br /> <br />From the Developer: $125,678 <br />· Various Transportation Grants Fund - $69,790 initial deposit and up to $20,946 <br />contingency, for a total of $90,736 to be appropriated by adoption of the <br />proposed Resolution <br />· Developer payments for design work made directly to developer’s engineer - <br />$34,942 <br /> <br />From the City: $300,000 <br />· Traffic Mitigation Fees Fund - $72,000 will be requested for Fiscal Year 2017- <br />2018 <br />· Transportation Fund - $228,000 will be requested for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section 15378, <br />because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably foreseeable <br />indirect physical change in the environment.
