Provide more stability for tenants. <br />•Flexibility. Provide flexibility for the tenant and the landlord (when they <br />can agree on an alternative time-frame for renting the unit). <br />•ADUs. Avoid creating disincentives for accessory dwelling units <br />(minimum project size recommended is 3 units). <br />•Rent Increases. No constraints on landlord raising rent at the end of the <br />lease agreement and each time the lease agreement is renewed. <br />•Smaller and Larger Rental Propeties. Recognize the differences between <br />smaller properties (“Mom and Pop” landlords) compared to larger rental <br />developments.
