EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Fung Collaboratives, Inc ("FC") is an arts organization that provides the expertise to <br />curate both public and commercial art installations, as well as provide arts education, and <br />foster collaboration. FC works with world renowned artists and learned that artists Emilia <br />and Illya Kabakov wanted to redesign their successful "Pirate Ship" from the FC exhibition <br />titled "Artlantic" and was searching for a permanent home. The result of deliberations <br />and recommendations by the Civic Cultural Commission and the Public Art Task Force, <br />along with the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, led to a vision of <br />creating a new park space adjacent to the Redwood Shores Library that would <br />incorporate a permanent art installation that also serves as an interactive play space <br />using the 'Pirate Ship% <br />Deliverables from FC: <br />1. Concurrent with the acquisition agreement of the work of art by the Kabakov's FC will <br />provide all plans, conditions report, and specifications for any needed preparations and <br />repairs. <br />2. Work with artists on the redesign of the `Pirate Ship" so that the upper deck will be <br />accessible but will maintain the aesthetics by the artists. <br />3. Work with artists and the City on conceptual designs for future park space, <br />incorporating the `Pirate Ship', adjacent to the Redwood Shores Library. <br />4. Work with the Landscape Architect and provide guidance throughout the future park <br />and installation project. <br />5. Provide input and information as it relates to BCDC, ABAG, and Bay Trail approval <br />process for installation of the 'Pirate Ship". <br />6. Will advise the City on possible grant opportunities related to the Project. <br />7. Coordinate with Project Manager and Landscape Architect the installation of the "Pirate <br />Ship". <br />8. FC will help coordinate the book project with the artists, City, book designer and <br />publisher if that concept moves forward. <br />9.
