Therefore, the proposed project
would not result in a safety hazard to people working or residing in the area due to the proximity of a
private airstrip.

g) Impair implementation of or physically interfere with an adopted emergency response plan or
emergency evacuation plan? (No Impact)

The relevant emergency response plans for the project site include the San Mateo County Emergency
Operations Plan and the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services San Francisco Bay Area Regional
Emergency Coordination Plan.75,76 The proposed project would not impair implementation of or
interfere with these plans in the vicinity of the project site. The proposed project involves
redevelopment of a previously developed property in an urbanized area and would not modify the
surrounding roadway network or change the access of major arterial roadways within the project
vicinity. The project would not create structures that would impede or obstruct emergency response
plans or evacuation plans. In addition, as described in Section XV1, Transportation/Traffic, the
project would not cause significant delays on a public roadway and would not impede emergency
response efforts. Therefore, project development and operation is not anticipated to interfere with any
emergency evacuation plan.

h) Expose people or structures to a significant risk of loss, injury or death involving wildland fires,
including where wildlands are adjacent to urbanized areas or where residences are intermixed
with wildlands?
