Approve the contract documents and award the standard form construction contract <br />(Section 00520) for the Middlefield Road and Woodside Road Intersection Improvements <br />Project to Granite Rock Company of San Jose, California, for their responsive low bid of <br />$1,562,685, and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, <br />up to 10% above the contract unit price, and find that the project is exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines <br />Section 15301 (Existing Facilities); <br />2. Approve an associated Easement for sidewalk and other purposes, and authorize the City <br />Manager to accept the Easement granted by Mortgage Investors IV LLC at 2001 Middlefield <br />Road, and execute the Certificate of Acceptance. <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br />Silvia Vondedinden <br />City Clerk <br />
