M/S Leipzig/Hartnett to adopt Resolution 13579 Awarding the Contract for the Stafford <br /> Park Play Area Renovation Project to AV&C Construction Inc. for $450,000. The motion <br /> passed by unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> A. Prezoning Approximately 200 Acres Land Located Within the Unincorporated Island <br /> End of Seaport Blvd for Proposed Annexation (301) <br /> <br /> Principal Planner Jany reported this recommended prezoning action is a mitigation <br /> measure required in the Pacific Shores Center Environmental Impact Report of which the <br /> Council certified in May 1995. He explained this prezoning of the approximate 200 acres <br /> is needed to provide a specific zoning designation to properties prior to annexation to <br /> Redwood City. He presented visual maps depicting location, size, ownership and <br /> conforming land use designations. <br /> <br /> Public Hearing Opened- 7:57p. m. <br /> <br /> No public came forward. <br /> <br /> M/S Leipzig/Ira to close the Public Hearing. The motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br /> Public Hearing Closed- 7:58p. m. <br /> <br /> Motion by Claire to waive the reading in entirety of the Ordinance and introduced by <br /> reading the title only; Ordinance Adding Section 60.23.12 to Ordinance No. 1130 the <br /> Redwood City Zoning Ordinance Prezoning Certain Property at and Near Seaport <br /> Boulevard for the M2 Zoning District Classification (Unincorporated San Mateo County) <br /> to the "IP", "TP" and "GI" Zoning District Classifications in the City of Redwood City. <br /> The motion was seconded by Hartnett and passed by majority roll call vote with Council <br /> Member Jordan abstaining and Mayor Howard absent. <br /> <br /> B. RMC Lonestar Annexation Agreement <br /> <br /> Assistant City Attorney Sorba reported he received a phone call this afternoon from RMC <br /> Lonestar's attorney and they requested this item of business be taken off of this agenda and <br /> Council concurred. <br /> <br />5.
