SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY <br /> A. Proclamation Honoring William Byrd's Retirement from Housing Rehabilitation Loan <br /> Committee - No one came forward to receive this presentation. (207) <br /> <br /> B. Introduction of New City Clerk, Patricia Dawal (Howe) <br /> i. Approve Letter of Employment Agreement (201) <br /> <br /> Mayor Howard thanked Interim City Clerk McKay for her service the past 6 months. She <br /> explained the four month City Clerk recruitment, assessment center and interview process where <br /> Ms. Dawal was the top candidate. Mayor Howard and each Council Member personally <br /> welcomed Ms. Dawal as Redwood City's new City Clerk. The Council explained their <br /> perspectives as to the process, with Council Members Leipzig and Jordan expressing <br /> dissatisfaction with portions of the process. <br /> <br /> M/S Ruskin/Hartnett to approve the letter of employment agreement with Patricia Dawal.
