Flap Gate Replacement and / or new Installation shall be to Redwood City Standards and <br />Includes: <br /> D Installation of flap gates will include removing existing flap gates, installing new <br /> flap gates, stainless steel wedge anchors and all concrete (or approved Redwood <br /> City standard) grouting. <br /> D Flap gates must be Waterman manufactured flap gates (absolutely no substitutes) <br /> D All flap gates to be cast iron. <br /> D All bushings must be bronze. <br /> D All seats must be bronze. <br /> D All assembly & hardware must be 316 stainless steel, (absolutely no substitutes) <br /> 0 All hinge arms must be stainless steel (absolutely no substitutes) <br /> D All flap gates to be fusion epoxy coated. <br /> 0 Redwood City reserves the rights to all replaced flap gates and parts. <br />2. Contractor is to determine the need for any and all environmental approvals and / or <br />permits from any regulatory agencies and prepare appropriate applications and documents for <br />City submittal. <br />3. Contractor is responsible for all construction associated with the installation of flap gates. <br />4. All replacement parts must meet manufacturer's specifications. <br />5. All nuts and bolts to be 316 SS (stainless steel) <br />6. Provide City with inspection report upon removing existing flap gates. <br />7.
