<br />EXHIBIT "A.1" <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The scope of services shall be apply to pumps at pump station locations identified by the <br />City for the following utilities: Storm Sewer and Water Utility Systems. <br /> <br />Specifications for Pump Reconditioning, Rebuild and Repair: <br /> <br />1. Contractor is responsible for removing / pulling pumps -Contractor to supply all needed <br />equipment for removing I pulling pumps and transporting for reconditioning and return delivery and <br />installation of pumps. <br /> <br />2. Complete disassemble and inspection of pumps within 10 days of pulling pump from <br />service. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Provide an inspection report to the City representative (usually the Utility Specialist) <br />whom will provide authorization to proceed with work. <br /> <br />All work performed must conform to the following requirements: <br /> <br />a. <br />b. <br />c. <br />d. <br /> <br />Straighten and balance impeller <br />Sandblast and epoxy coat inside and outside of column pump. <br />Reassemble pump. <br />Polish and straighten shafting to .0005 per foot I total indicated run out not to <br />exceed .002 per inch. <br />Check all aligning registers. <br />Dynamic balance impeller <br />Replace bearings and seals. <br /> <br />e. <br />f. <br />g. <br /> <br />When required, replace the following parts: <br /> <br />1 416 SS Line <br />1 416 SS Line Shaft <br />1 416 SS Head Shaft <br />1 Bronze Suction Bowl Bearing <br />1 Bronze lower Bowl Bearing <br /> <br />1 Bronze Upper Bowl Bearing <br />2 Oil Tube Line Shaft Bearing <br />1 Top Oil Tube Tension <br />Bearings <br />1 Shaft Lip Seal <br /> <br />All replacement parts must meet manufactures specifications. <br /> <br />Major parts such as bowls and impellers must be same as pump manufacturer. <br /> <br />All nuts and bolts to be 316 SS (stainless steel) <br /> <br />The City retains the right to inspect pumps during disassemble and inspection, and to <br />inspect any and all replaced parts. <br /> <br />Amendment to AddTime-ChangeScope-F eeSchedule <br />City Attorney Approved Version 090103 3 <br /> <br />Amendment No.2 <br />
