5. PUBLIC HEARING - approve proposed revision to <br />Zoning Ordinance with respect to drive -thru <br />restaurants in the "CP" District <br />Report: Redwood City Planning Commission 6/5/89 <br />Planning Director Joel Patterson gave staff report. <br />Mayor Greenalch declared the public hearing open at 8:10 p.m. and invited <br />anyone who wished to speak to do so. <br />Joe Scott, 702 Marshall , Suite 500, Redwood City, Attorney for Conrad <br />Freeman, applicant, spoke in favor of revision to Zoning Ordinance. <br />Mayor Greenalch invited anyone else who wished to speak to do so. No one <br />else wished to speak. <br />M /S: Bury /Stangel to close the public hearing. <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote and public hearing closed at 8:14 p.m. <br />Title read. M /S: Stangel /Buchan <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 2.31.1 TO, AND AMENDING SECTIONS 16.4k AND 16.10a <br />OF, ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REGARDING <br />DRIVE - THROUGH RESTAURANTS IN THE COMMERCIAL PARK (CP) DISTRICT OF REDWOOD <br />CITY <br />approved for 1st reading. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. Dr. Nancy Jewel Cross, Executive Director of Clean Air Transport Systems <br />presented her proposal for a trolley system on the Dumbarton Bridge <br />connecting the Bart Station in the East Bay and Cal Train on the Peninsula <br />financed with Measure A funds originally earmarked for Cal Train extension to <br />downtown San Francisco. <br />MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br />6 a.
