Charles McAleer, past Commander of Post 2310 Veterans of Foreign Wars, <br />introduced the new Commander, Evelyn Powell, and thanked the Council for their <br />past support. <br />b. Steven Ray, Eyes of the World Productions, 883 Rorke Way, Palo Alto, requested <br />a permit to stage a block party for charity on August 12, 1989 at 500 block of <br />Harrison Avenue. Vice Mayor LaBerge announced the birth of her first grandchild, Elaine <br />Michele, and the happy news was met with applause and "congratulations!" <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />M /S: Bury / Stangel to waive reading of the Consent Calendar, adopt the <br />resolutions and approve other items. <br />Reg.
