<br /> OR\G\\'\M: <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> AGREEMENT <br />Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this '~ 911. day of <br />De (~k , 1995, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Kainos Home and Training Center for the <br />Developmentally Disabled, a California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides assistance to adults with developmental disabilities to <br />live independently as active contributing citizens in the community; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br />for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, <br />1996; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Three-Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($3,000); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br />1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Three- <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($3,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996, solely for the purposes described in <br />paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br />solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> . ...~--.... .
