<br /> DES:djk rH/26/96 (035/68) <br /> or"'''''''''I'' L <br /> "¡" Î' , 'ì <br /> í\¡u ¡~h <br /> A G R E E MEN T <br /> --------- <br /> PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br /> WATER RESERVOIR DEMOLITION AND REHABILITATION <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 2G~ day of <br /> \'V\a;rc~ , 1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />("City") , and KENNEDY/JENKS CONSULTANTS, of Palo Alto, California <br />("Consul tant") ; <br /> WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> WHEREAS, City requires the demolition and rehabilitation of <br />water reservoirs (storage tanks) in various locations throughout <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires <br />professional engineering services; <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br />for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall prepare plans <br />and specifications and perform engineering and related services <br />for the Project as described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in <br />an amount based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are currently <br />prevailing during the time of the performance of said services. <br /> .-' <br />
