<br /> DES:djk 07/12/96 (023/70) <br />ORIGINAL <br /> A G R E E MEN T <br /> --------- <br /> CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br /> PETROLEUM VIOLATION ESCROW ACCOUNT TRAFFIC <br /> SIGNAL INTERCONNECTION PROJECT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /,;( "'" day of <br />~ , 1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />("City") , and MEYER, MOHADDES ASSOCIATES, INC. of San Mateo, <br />California ("Consultant") ; <br /> WIT N E SSE T H : <br />WHEREAS, City proposes to to interconnect and coordinate 23 <br />existing traffic signal systems on El Camino Real from Redwood <br />City to Belmont (the "Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, City requires <br />professional engineering and design services; and <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br />for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform <br />engineering, design and related services as described in Exhibit <br />"A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein. <br />2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in <br />an amount based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are currently <br /> -r- <br /> I <br />
