The estimated duration <br />of this phase is 24 months. <br />Project Management Services <br />Krupka Consulting has been providing project management for the 101/84 Interchange <br />Project since the initiation of the PA&ED phase. Project management for these phases <br />of work includes project oversight, administration of PS&E and R/W consultant <br />contracts, and coordination with the City, Caltrans, the TA, and the community. To date, <br />Krupka Consulting has performed effectively and efficiently and provided the <br />appropriate level of coordination with City staff. The base amendment amount is for <br />$305,000 with a contingency amount of $30,000, for roughly two years of services. Use <br />of the contingency will require City Manager's approval. <br />Staff negotiated an amendment to the agreement and recommends the City Council <br />approve Amendment No. 4, which provides for continued project management services <br />for the PS&E and R/W phases of work. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />City Council may choose to: <br />• Cease work on the project and not execute the Cooperative Agreement with <br />Caltrans, the agreement with AECOM, or the amendment with Krupka <br />Consulting. <br />• Not approve the design agreement or project management services amendment <br />and direct staff to modify them or take alternate action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funding for the PS&E and R/W Support phases of work are provided by the following <br />sources and accounts: <br />• San Mateo County Transportation Authority Highway Program Grant (264 83172 <br />which has a balance of $8,044,880 as of May 31, 2017); and <br />• Traffic mitigation fees from the development of the Woodside Technology Center <br />for Woodside Road Corridor Improvements (268 70604 which has a balance of <br />$730,093 as of May 31, 2017); and <br />• Traffic mitigation fees from the development of the Mid Point Technology Park for <br />Woodside Road Corridor Improvements (266 70604 which has a balance of <br />$807,571 as of May 31, 2017). <br />The Cooperative Agreement does not require the City's direct expenditure of funds. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The City of Redwood City has determined that the execution these documents is not a <br />project as defined in the California Environmental Quality Act. <br />
