The final report will be stamped by a California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer. 9. Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/PCB Test Report AECOM will investigate the potential for hazardous materials building components in the structures to be demolished that will be coming into the Right -of -Way or are already on the existing Right -of -Way. The purpose of the investigation will be to identify hazardous building materials that will require management and or mitigation measures, as follows: • Lead Based Paint (LBP). • Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). • Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) in building materials from structures that are to be demolished as part of the project. AECOM will develop a detailed investigation workplan for review and approval by the City and Caltrans that will be based on a statistical sampling approach to accomplish the following. ■ LBP, ACM, and PCB materials testing: • Evaluate four existing bridges • Evaluate four existing buildings, including Denny's (1), Public Storage (2 each), and a Corporation Yard (1) • Provide properly credentialed AECOM/subcontractor staff to collect required samples. • Establish which structures may require pre -demolition removal of hazardous building materials before these structures are demolished. AECOM's work plan will include the following elements. • Review of the goals of the plan. • Description and figures of the sampling locations, depths of samples to be collected, frequency of sampling, and other procedures. • Description of the analytical procedures to be used.
