The submittal will consist of all design <br />documents that are required for the Project. <br />AECOM will coordinate the plans, specifications and estimates with those of other design <br />consultants and assure that highway design interfaces with structures design. AECOM's <br />activities will include: <br />Task 3.1 Design Exceptions <br />AECOM will review the Project to assess the need for additional mandatory and advisory <br />design exceptions that may be required prior to commencing detailed design work. <br />Additional design exceptions, if discovered, will be submitted as a list at the 65% PS&E <br />Phase. <br />Task 3.2 Highway Plan Sheets <br />AECOM will prepare, coordinate and submit Design Plan Sheets in English units for all <br />highway design, and assure that interface information is provided to the other design <br />consultants. The drawings are to be in MicroStation CADD V8i format and must be in <br />compliance with Caltrans' requirements.
