6.1.C. - Page 5 <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Services Provided to Silicon Valley Clean Water (SVCW) <br />Information Technology Services: <br />• Correct any identified "bugs" in financial software <br />• Verity the integrity of all financial systems <br />• Verity that edits and controls will minimize user errors and complications <br />• Modify payroll system due to Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) changes in <br />discussed and agreed upon time post notification of such changes <br />• Assist with the payroll calendar year end <br />• Assist with keeping financials files balanced <br />• Assist with the fiscal year closing effort <br />• Assist with providing financial data to state and federal agencies <br />• Assist with the installation of new printers, special equipment <br />• Assist with user login or connection problems <br />• Assist with remote user access <br />Computer Technology Services <br />• SVCW's share of cost of the server that runs the financial system <br />Controller Services: <br />• The Controller or his or her designee shall attend the monthly meetings of the <br />SVCW Commission <br />• The Controller shall be responsible for investing SVCW funds and <br />recommending its investment policy <br />Financial Services: <br />• Maintain the general ledger as required by the Governmental Accounting <br />Standards Board (GASB) according to Generally Accepted Accounting <br />Principles <br />• Prepare monthly financial statement and other management reports as <br />requested by SVCW in the format specified by SVCW <br />• Provide financial analysis as requested by SVCW management <br />• Reconcile cash and investment accounts and prepare monthly investments reports <br />• Perform all banking activities and reconcile bank statements. Notify <br />SVCW management of any irregularities <br />• Process accounts payable transactions as input by SVCW staff and prepare <br />checks <br />• Prepare accounts payable reports for SVCW management <br />• Prepare manual checks as required <br />• Deposit checks, void and re -issue checks, mail checks as instructed by SVCW <br />• Process payroll transactions as input by SVCW staff and prepare checks and <br />automatic deposits <br />• Process adjustments for CalPERS as necessary <br />• Process all payroll reports (state and federal tax reports, California Public <br />REV: 06-23-17 JS <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 4 /Silicon Clean Valley Water - IT & FIN Svcs <br />
