No. 18 and P.S. No. 20. <br />HydroScience Engineers, Inc. will perform the scope of work for the amount of <br />$195,000.00. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose not to approve the proposed agreement with HydroScience <br />Engineers, Inc. and direct staff to find alternate means of completing the work, or modify <br />the scope of work, or select other consultants. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds for the Sanitary Sewer Pump Station Improvements Project - P.S. No. 18 and <br />P.S. No. 20 were previously approved and appropriated in Fiscal Year 2016-17 <br />budget as Sewer Fund Capital Projects — Sewer Pump Station Rehabilitation Program <br />with an available balance of $1,596,366.67 as of May 31, 2017. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />As the lead agency, City of Redwood City has determined that entering into the Design <br />Professional Agreement with HydroScience Engineers, Inc. is not a "project" subject to <br />the California Environmental Quality Act because entering into the agreement will not <br />cause either a direct physical change in the environment, or a reasonably foreseeable <br />indirect physical change in the environment (see California Public Resources Code <br />Section 21065). <br />r, . )--� <br />JEFFREY CHOU <br />ASSISTANT ENGINEER 11 <br />
