A. Fourth amendment to the uniform franchise agreement with Browning Ferris <br /> Industries (BFI) for solid waste collection services. <br /> <br /> Finance Director Ponty gave background and recommended adoption of the amendment to <br /> provide staff and the SBTSA negotiatiors with sufficient time to conclude their <br /> negotiations and provide the~ recommended proposal to the City Council. The amendment <br /> does not extend the agreement with BFI, but only extends the deadline by which BFI must <br /> be notified if the Council elects to terminate their agreement with BFI to February 1, 2000. <br /> <br /> City Attorney Schrickcr read the title of the ordinance. <br /> <br /> M/S Leipzig/Ira to introduce an ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF FOURTH AMENDMENT TO FRANCHISE AGREEMENT WITH <br /> BROWNING-FERRIS INDUSTRIES OF CALIFORNIA, INC., FOR SOLID WASTE <br /> COLLECTION SERVICES (301) <br /> <br /> The motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br /> B. Reflnaneing of Seaport Blvd. and Seaport Centre Assessment District Bonds. <br /> <br /> Finance Director Ponty gave a report on the refinancing and introduced others available for <br /> questions. <br /> <br /> M/S Leipzig/Ira to adopt the following: <br /> <br /> 1) RESOLUTION 13626 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE REPORT ON THE LEVY OF <br /> REASSESSMENTS AND THE REFUNDING OF ITS 1915 ACT IMPROVEMENT <br /> BONDS (Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport)) (100) <br /> <br /> 2) RESOLUTION 13627 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY LIMITED <br /> OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS FOR CONSOLIDATED REASSESSMENT <br /> DISTRICT (SEAPORT) (Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport) (100) <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />9.
