<br /> DES:dik OS/29/96 (012/70) <br /> ORIGINML <br /> A G R E E MEN T <br /> --------- <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br /> CITYWIDE SIDEWALK CONDITION, STREET TREE INVENTORY <br /> AND DATABASE PROJECT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this Æ day of <br /> :~~nicipa~ 1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, corporation of the State of California, <br />("City") , and THOMAS J. PEHRSON, Urban Forestry Consultant of El <br />Sobrante, California ("Consultant") ; <br /> WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> WHEREAS, City requires completion of the Citywide sidewalk <br />condition, street tree inventory and database project in the City <br />of Redwood City (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, City requires <br />professional consulting services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br />for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform <br />evaluations, inspections, street tree inventory, data quality <br />control and related services as described in Exhibit "A" hereo f , <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in <br />an amount based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are currently <br />prevailing during the time of the performance of said services. <br /> ~- <br />
