DES:dj~ 09/17/96 (014/65) ORIGINAL A G R E E MEN T --------- THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "City", and GOLDEN BEAR ARBORISTS, INC. , of Monrovia, California, hereinafter referred to as "Contractor", for the consideration hereinafter stated, hereby agree as follows: 1. Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform within three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: COMPREHENSIVE STREET TREE MAINTENANCE PROJECT 1996-1997 in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications pertaining thereto and signed by the Director of Public Works Services of Redwood City, which Contract Documents and Specifications are incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. 2. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the faithful performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-two Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-nine and 34/100 Dollars ($182,389.34) computed in accordance with Contractor's accepted proposal dated August 21, 1996, which accepted proposal is incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth. 3.
