<br />~ _INAL (08/26/96) <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Redwood City Police Activities League <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br />t2~ f <br /> , 1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California ("City") and Redwood City Police Activities League, a <br /> California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides alternative programs to drugs and gangs, to the youth of <br /> Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br /> for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, <br /> 1997; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> Sixteen Thousand, Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($16,200); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br />1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Sixteen <br /> Thousand, Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($16,200) for exclusive use by Contractor during <br /> the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997, solely for the purposes <br /> described in paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br /> solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br /> and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement <br /> which are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without <br /> the prior written consent of City. <br /> .- <br />
