<br />expressly limited by and to the terms, covenants and conditions of this Agreement. <br />3. Compensation <br /> (a) Rate - Contract Employee shall be compensated for the performance <br />of the above described services at the rate of ($5032.00) per month. <br />Payment of such compensation shall be made bi-weekly. Contract employee shall <br />not be entitled to overtime. <br /> (b) Benefits - Contract employee shall be entitled to the following <br />benefits: <br /> State Disability Insurance: Contract Employee shall be entitled to <br />participate in the State Disability Insurance. Applicable: ~Yes No <br /> Recognized Holidays: City shall provide paid holidays as listed in <br />Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. <br /> Bereavement Leave: Contract Employee may be absent with pay up to three <br />(3) consecutive work days, (four (4) days if travel requires over 300 miles) available <br />upon commencement of employment because of a death in Contract Employee's immediate <br />family. <br /> Vacation: Vacation Leave shall be available after six ( 6) months of <br />service. Contract employee shall accrue vacation leave on a monthly basis at the <br />rate of ten (10) days per year of service. <br /> Pers: Employee is eligible to participate in the California Public <br />Employees Retirement System with the City paying both the employee and employer <br />contribution at date of hire. <br />Employee shall not receive any employee benefit not expressly described in <br />this paragraph (b) . <br /> 4. Term <br />The term of this Agreement shall commence on September 30, 1996, and shall expire <br />on September 30, 1997, unless this Agreement is sooner terminated. <br /> .- <br />
