<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />04-SM-101-KP 10.0/12.2 (PM 6.2/7.6) <br />In the City of Redwood City <br />from 0.6 kIn (0.4 mile) east of Whipple <br />Avenue to the North City Limits at <br />Brittan Avenue <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />FREEWAY AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into on this EIGHTtf day of <br />;<./òVêMB££.., 19..2GL, by and between the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by <br />and through the Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "STATE"), <br />and the City of Redwood City (herein referred to as "CITY") , <br /> <br />WITNESSETH; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the highway described above has been declared to be a freeway <br />by resolution of the California Transportation Commission on January 21, 1953; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, STATE and the County of San Mateo have entered into a <br />Freeway Agreement dated June 1, 1943, relating to that portion of State Highway <br />Route 101 (formally Route 68) between San Mateo and Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, STATE and the County of San Mateo have entered into a <br />Supplemental Freeway Agreement dated August 5, 1952, relating to that portion of <br />State Highway Route 101 (formally Route 68) between 0.2 kilometer (0.1 mile) south <br />ofE. 16th Avenue in San Mateo and the north City limits of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CITY has subsequently annexed certain areas including <br />portions of such freeway covered by said Supplemental Freeway Agreement dated <br />August 5, 1952 with the County of San Mateo; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, STATE and CITY have entered into a Freeway Agreement <br />dated February 9, 1981, relating to that portion of State Highway Route 101 from 0.6 <br />kilometer (0.4 mile) east of Whipple Avenue to 0.6 kilometer (0.4 mile) west of <br />Whipple Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS a revised plan map for such freeway has been prepared <br />showing the proposed plan of the STATE as it affects streets of the CITY; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the parties hereto to enter into a new <br />Freeway Agreement in accordance with the revised plan of said freeway; <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />
