necessary <br />Material -Enclosure: Equal to or greater than Type 3R rating <br />B. Services to be provided by Vendor <br />1. On -Site inspection of installation and initial startup of equipment including <br />instrument calibration and system tuning per manufacturer specifications. <br />2. On -Site training for City Staff to include; calibration procedures, alarm and <br />fault conditions, and monitoring and operational procedures. <br />3. Vendor will provide City with a start-up checklist. <br />C. Items to be completed by City <br />1. Installation of all equipment to include: <br />i. Secondary containment of all equipment and piping <br />ii. Equipment unloading and installation <br />iii. All civil works and concrete pad for equipment <br />iv. Water sampling piping from tank to Water Quality Station:10 gph <br />v. All interconnecting piping, including between chemical feed system, <br />chemical storage tank, and chemical lines to the tank <br />vi. Any tank recoating services, labor, or parts <br />vii. Any electrical work, connections or SCADA integration <br />viii. Any underground or structural work <br />ix. Any hatch penetrations or modifications <br />x. Any permitting or regulatory approvals except for the City of <br />Redwood Business License, which shall be the Vendor's <br />responsibility to obtain if required under the City's Business License <br />Ordinance, Municipal Code Chapter 32.101 through 32.156. <br />2. City will provide Vendor a minimum of two (2) weeks notification prior to <br />Vendor performing onsite installation inspection, system start-up and <br />training. In the event of a delay, City will provide Vendor notification of <br />delay. <br />D. Clarifications <br />1. The intent of the installation of the Residual Control System (RCS) is to <br />increase chloramine residual in the two recycled water storage tanks. The <br />system is not intended to consume all the excess ammonia in the recycled <br />water storage tanks. <br />2. The equipment will be delivered within 90 days from the approval of the <br />submittals. <br />3. The location of where the equipment will be installed is not specified in the <br />bid document. <br />4. Shed is not included in the proposal. <br />5. The pump station nearby the tank is assumed to be able to house (2) PAX <br />Smart Controllers, (2) Water Quality Stations and (2) Chemical Feed <br />Systems. <br />6. (2) 320 -gallon drums are recommended to store the 12.5% sodium <br />hypochlorite.
