<br />Resources Code and Title 2, Division 3 of the California Code of <br />Regulations, and for consideration specified in this Lease, does hereby <br />lease, demise and let to: <br /> City of Redwood City <br />hereinafter referred to as Lessee: <br />WHOSE MAILING ADDRESS IS: 1017 Middlefield Road <br /> Redwood City, California 94063 <br />those certain lands described in Section 3 subject to the reservations, <br />terms, covenants and conditions of this Lease. <br />LEASE TYPE: General Lease - Public Agency Use <br />LAND TYPE: Tide and submerged lands <br />LOCATION: Belmont Slough, City of Redwood City, San Mateo County <br />LAND USE OR PURPOSE: Operation and maintenance of two 36-inch diameter <br />metal saltwater intake pipelines to improve water circulation of the <br />existing lagoon system at the Redwood Shores Peninsula. <br />TERM: Thirty (30) years; beginning May 1, 1995 ending April 30, 2025, <br />unless sooner terminated as provided under this Lease. <br />CONSIDERATION: Public use and benefit, with the State reserving the <br />right at any time to set a monetary rental if the Commission finds such <br />action to be in the state's best interest; subject to modification by <br />Lessor as specified in Section 4 - General Provisions. <br />AUTHORIZED IMPROVEMENTS: <br />---X EXISTING: Two 36-inch diameter metal saltwater intake pipelines. <br />__ TO BE CONSTRUCTED; CONSTRUCTION MUST BEGIN BY: N/A <br /> AND BE COMPLETED BY: N/A <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE: N/A <br />SURETY BOND OR OTHER SECURITY: N/A <br /> "Ü,,·_...·,,_·..___ ...'.......__....__.,___._.'n..,'__-.',... ..__,"-,..._.. <br />
