<br />pursuant to subparagraph (a) will be used to send newsletters, or other "mass mailing" as <br />defined in Section 82041.5 of the California Government Code. In pursuance of the <br />foregoing, the Chamber shall: <br />Community Development <br />(1) Staff a public information office <br />(2) Distribute information sheets, community guides and maps on <br /> Redwood City. <br />(3) Maintain a Leadership Redwood City Program <br />(4) Publish a monthly, "Its Your Town" which provides space to local groups <br /> and organizations to promote their projects. <br />Economic Development <br />(1) Share in the implementation of Redwood City's Economic Development <br /> Strategy with the Redevelopment Agency. <br /> -Target industry programs for identification and outreach <br /> -Citywide business promotion <br /> -Strike team participation <br /> -Continue business focus groups with major employers, and Mayor, <br /> Council members and/or senior staff. <br />(2) Research and publish community economic profile for 1996-97. <br />(3) Maintain commercial vacancy log book including the Redwood Shores Area <br />(4) Provide general assistance in business development through the Service <br /> Corps of Retired Executives ("SCORE") counseling program. <br />(5) Maintain a "Doing Business in Redwood City" information packet. <br />(6) Provide such other programs or materials to which the Chamber and City <br /> may mutually agree. <br />2. Accountability. Prior to January 30, 1997, the Chamber shall present <br />a written report to City on activities under this agreement to date and submit a formal <br /> 2 <br /> .... ~.. <br />
