<br />defined in Section 82041.5 of the California Government Code. In pursuance of the <br />foregoing, the Chamber shall: <br />Community Development <br />(1) Distribute public information; <br />(2) Distribute information sheets, community guides and maps on Redwood City; <br />(3) Maintain a Leadership Redwood City Program; <br />(4) Publish a monthly, "Its Your Town" which provides space to local groups and <br />organizations to promote their projects. <br />Economic Development <br />(1) Share in the implementation of Redwood City's Economic Development <br /> Strategy with the Redevelopment Agency. <br /> - Target industry programs for identification and outreach <br /> - Citywide business promotion <br /> - Strike team participation <br /> - Continue business focus groups with major employers, and Mayor, Council <br /> members and/or senior staff <br />(2) Research and publish community economic profile for 1997-98. <br />(3) Maintain commercial vacancy log book including the Redwood Shores Area <br />(4) Provide general assistance in business development through the Service Corps <br /> of Retired Executives ("SCORE") counseling program. <br />(5) Maintain a "Doing Business in Redwood City" information packet. <br />(6) Provide such other programs or materials to which the Chamber and City may <br /> mutually agree. <br />2. Accountabilitv . Prior to January 30, 1998, the Chamber shall present a <br />written report to City on activities under this agreement to date and submit a formal <br />request for funding for the next fiscal year. Within 60 days after the expiration of the term <br />hereof, Chamber will provide City with a detailed report of the purposes for which the <br />funds paid hereunder were expended, which report shall be subject to the review and <br />approval of the City's Finance Director, who shall have the right to audit Chamber's <br />records and accounts. City shall have the further right to require a special report and <br /> ..-'^" <br />
