<br /> AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />This Amendment to Agreement is between the SAN MATEO COUNTY HUMAN <br />SERVICES AGENCY ("San Mateo") and CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("Redwood City") and <br />amends that Agreement between the parties dated October 15, 1996 and amended December 16, <br />1997. <br />Whereas the parties would like to extend the term of the Agreement, and continue all of the <br />services to be provided within the Agreement in an uninterrupted manner, the parties hereby agree <br />that the term of the Agreement shall be extended from the expiring date of the Agreement, as <br />amended March 30, 1998 to June 30, 1998 (the "extended term"). <br />The total amount to be paid by San Mateo to Redwood City for the extended term shall be <br />the amount of $11, 142, paid in one quarterly payment. <br />In paragraph 12 - A (1) of the Agreement, Pat West is the Director, Office of Housing, for <br />San Mateo. <br />Paragraph VII - Integration of SUCCESS is added to Exhibit A of the Agreement: <br />A. Working Relationship <br />Contractor will participate in decision-making on SUCCESS issues that impact on the <br />partnership between the Human Services Agency (HSA) and Contractor. Contractor has <br />final say on Contractor issues not related to state regulations. There should be tree <br />communication between HSA and Contractor staff <br />Conflict Resolution Contractor and HSA will develop a protocol for conflict resolution. A <br />joint team made up of Core Agency and HSA members will identify areas of potential <br />disagreement and develop ways to resolve. <br /> 1 <br /> " .
