EXHIBIT "A"
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The scope of work for Amendment No. 3 is described below
(1) Design of Custom Structures Aesthetics
Background
Consultant's Original Agreement Scope of Services (Task 2.12 Landscape/Aesthetics
Concept Plan) included standard structure aesthetics. The standard structure
aesthetics are indicated in the Project Report, the Environmental Document, and the
Visual Impact Analysis Report. There was no custom structure aesthetics request
made during the Project Approval & Environmental Document Phase. The Original
Agreement only included the level of effort required to prepare and provide standard
structure aesthetics. The City would now like to enhance the structure aesthetics by
providing custom structure aesthetics for certain structures. Figure 1 illustrates standard
and custom structure aesthetic features.
Scope of Work
Consultant will complete the additional services described below, which are necessary
to provide custom structures aesthetics as part of the PS&E and R/W Support Phase of
the 101/84 (Woodside Road) Interchange Improvement Project.
Provide Custom Structures Aesthetics — Consultant will provide custom structure
aesthetics into the design. This Task will include the following subtasks:
1. Initial Conceptual Drawings - Design and create conceptual drawings for one set
of custom aesthetics for retaining walls 720, 538, 333 and 115.
2. City Review - Correspond with the City and submit Initial Conceptual Drawings to
the City for review.
3. Incorporate City Comments - Upon receipt of City comments, revise the designs
and create one revised set of alternatives for the same walls as noted in subtask
1.
4. Conceptual Drawings (revision 1) - Correspond with City and provide responses
to comments and updated Conceptual Drawings. At same time, submit
Conceptual Drawings to Caltrans.
5. Caltrans Review - Receive comments from Caltrans and discuss.
6. Conceptual Drawings (revision 2) - Upon receipt of comments from Caltrans,
prepare two conceptual alternatives that respond to Caltrans comments.
7. Caltrans Review #2 — Correspond with Caltrans and submit two conceptual
alternatives to Caltrans for walls noted in item 1.
8. Final Conceptual Drawings - Receive Caltrans comments & respond by
redesigning one set of alternatives for the walls and finalizing the Conceptual
Drawings.
REV: 07-03-19 DZ
ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 3/AECOM 101/84 PS&E Page 3of13
