<br /> the costs of providing the officers. <br /> 7. INSURANCE: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property <br /> damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, it Council, boards, <br /> commissions, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as insureds, or <br /> additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or <br /> death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the <br /> activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have <br /> arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of Permittee in <br /> connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for each person and <br /> $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for damage <br /> or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use thereof, in the <br /> amount of $1,000,000. Evidence of such insurance coverage in form <br /> satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by Permittee to the City at least ten <br /> (10) days prior to commencement of the event. <br /> 8. Damaae to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br /> costs for any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of Monroe Ave., <br /> caused by or arising out of the conducting of the "W. L. Butler Block Party" <br /> permitted hereunder, or the acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in <br /> said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, <br /> including the public right of way in connection with the "W.L. Butler Block <br /> Party" shall be removed immediately following said event. <br /> 9. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br /> applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting of <br /> said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in <br /> addition to all other permits which are or may be required for conducting the <br /> "W.L. Butler Block Party" or any associated activity. <br /> 10. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and <br /> save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br /> commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, <br /> damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature <br /> whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to <br /> perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of <br /> said party, or any activities herein permitted. <br /> 11. Additional Matters: Traffic control at the intersection of Monroe Ave. and <br /> Franklin St. will be the responsibility of the Permittee. Permittee will place all <br /> necessary barricades at the intersection. Barricades must be of the nature to <br /> allow emergency vehicle access. Additional or further matters not herein <br /> described or contemplated in connection with the "W. L. Butler Block Party" <br /> shall not be effectuated without the prior written consent of the Chief of <br /> 2 <br />.- T - ._. - .-.-----..-.... rr <br />
