Motion to Approve Utility Users Tax Amendments <br /> <br /> Financial Services Director Ponty referred back to the budget session where Council <br /> directed the Finance Committee meet and report back to the Council a recommendation <br /> regarding the utility users tax. He explained the committee met in July and is <br /> recommending reduction of the tax from 5% to 4-1/2%, which represents a 10% reduction <br /> in the rate.
