<br />10. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and save <br />harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, commissions, <br />employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or claims to <br />which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, resulting from or <br />arising out of the performance or failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or <br />otherwise arising from or arising out of said race, or any activities herein permitted. <br />11. Additional Matters: Traffic control along the course will be the responsibility of the <br />Permittee. At all times there will be at least two adult volunteers at Seaport and <br />Bloomquist, who will have responsibility of directing traffic at that intersection. <br />Additional or further matters not herein described or contemplated in connection <br />with the "RUN BY THE BAY" shall not be effectuated without the prior written <br />consent of the Chief of Police. <br />12. Acceptance: This permit shall not be effective until fully executed by all parties <br />hereto and accepted by Permittee, and returned to the City. <br />Yours truly, <br />~~C~~ <br />Scott D.
