Riley and Sons, Inc. <br />P.D Box 8567 <br />Emeryville, CA 94662 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: SECTION 00510, NOTICE OF AWARD <br /> <br />RE: 2004-2005 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Riley, <br /> <br />The Contract Sum of your contract is Two Hundred Seventy Nine Thousand Five <br />Hundred Dollars ($279,500.00). <br /> <br />Copies of each of the Contract Documents accompanying will be delivered separately or <br />otherwise made available to you. <br /> <br />Upon receipt of this Notice of Award, you and each of your subcontractors who employ <br />workers in any apprenticeable craft or trade, shall apply to the joint apprenticeship <br />committee administering the apprenticeship standards of the craft or trade for a certificate <br />approving you and your subcontractors under the apprenticeship standards for the <br />employment and training of apprentices, in accordance with section 1777.5 of the <br />California Labor Code. <br /> <br />Upon commencement of the Work, you and each of your subcontractors shall certify and <br />make available for inspection payroll records on forms provided by the Division of Labor <br />Standards Enforcement, in accordance with section 1776 of the California Labor Code. <br /> <br />You must comply with the following conditiDns precedent within twenty (20) calendar days <br />after the date of this Notice of Award1 that is by October 4, 2004. <br /> <br />1. You must deliver to the City two (2) fully executed counterparts of Document <br />00520 (Agreement). Each of the Contract Documents must bear your signature. <br /> <br />2. You must deliver to the City Document 00610 (Performance Bond), executed by <br />you and your surety. <br /> <br />3. You must deliver to the City Document 00620 (Construction Labor and Material <br />Payment Bond), executed by you and your surety\ <br /> <br />Further, you may deliver any requests for substitution within thirty-five (35) Days of the <br />date of this Notice of Award, that is by October 19, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />NOTICE OF AWARD <br />00510-1 <br />
