Proclamation Excite~Home; - Mayor Howard read the proclamation honoring Ex¢ite~Home <br /> Corporation for their growth rate of 187% between 1994 and 1994 and earning the <br /> distinction of ranking 2nd among the top 50 fastest growing gazelle companies in the Silicon <br /> Valley. Stefan Tomlinson, David Pine and Denise McGuire were present to receive the <br /> proclamation (207) <br /> <br />2. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br /> Hillary Paulson, Faiiiihill Drive, spoke about thefts in the neighborhood, specifically, political <br /> signs. <br /> <br /> Patricia O'Brien spoke about excerpts from Mark Simon's articles from the S.F. Chronicle <br /> regarding local politics. <br /> <br />3. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Items on the Consent Calendar arc considered to be routine by the City Council and will be <br /> enacted by one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless <br /> a Council Member or Citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the <br /> consent and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. <br /> <br /> A. Approve the Minutes of the Special Closed Session and the Study Session of October 4, <br /> 1999, Special Closed Session and the Regular Council Meeting of October 11, 1999 as <br /> submitted; (301) MINUTE ORDER99-136 <br /> <br /> B.
