ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br /> Judy Hanson thanked the Council for taking an interest in education and urged continued <br /> support with both time and money toward thc goal of student success. <br /> <br /> Jeff Filippi representing "Tis the Season", invited the Council and community to the event on <br /> December 4 with the holiday parade at 4:30 begiuning at Jefferson and Middlefield, official <br /> tree lighting, sing-a-long and Council f~ng offthe fireworks. <br /> <br /> Teresa Gotelli, regarding auto theft and her son's vehicle being stolen, recently retrieved in San <br /> Francisco. <br /> <br />3. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Items on thc Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be <br /> enacted by one motion and one vote. Them will be no separate discussion of these items unless <br /> a Council Member or Citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the <br /> consent and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda <br /> <br /> A. Approve the Minutes oftbe Regular Council Meeting of October 25~, 1999; (303) <br /> MINUTE ORDER 99-145 <br /> <br /> B. Motion to Approve Waiver of Informalities in Bids - 1999-2000 Sewer Main and award <br /> contract to Saliba Corporation upon findings that the irregularity or error was not the result <br /> of fraudulent intent on the part of the bidder and that best interests of the public would be <br /> saved thereby; (304) MINUTE ORDER 99-146 <br /> <br /> C. The funds for these programs have already been approved by Council on 5/10/99. The <br /> Council is now being asked to approve the operating agreements.
