Provide sanitary and secure <br />housing for low income families by <br />completing minor home repairs consisting <br />of installation or construction of <br />I) Door, windows repair/replacement <br />including screen doors/windows. <br />2) Plumbing fixtures repaired/replaced. <br />3) Porch steps reinforced/repaired. <br />4) Floor/wall repair. <br />5) Installation of smoke and carbon <br />monoxide detectors. <br />Improve housing conditions to reduce 50 Households 6/30/97 <br />energy consumption by providing <br />weatherization services; including <br />1) Energy education and assessment. <br />2) Attic insulation, <br />3) Door weatherstripping, <br />4) Water heater wrap, <br />5) Furnace filters, <br />6) Energy efficient showerheads, <br />7) Electrical outlets gaskets caulking, <br />which will reduce monthly utilities bills and <br />create a more comfortable environment by <br />providing weatherization services. <br />
