<br /> EXHIBIT B <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> NORTH PENINSULA NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES CENTER <br /> FISCAL YEAR 1995/96 <br /> CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> North Peninsula Neighborhood Services Center will provide minor home repairs and weatherization <br /> to approximately 50 low and moderate income households at an average cost of $465.00 per house and <br /> not to exceed $1,000 per residence without prior approval by the City. Contractor shall refer all clients <br /> needing repairs in excess of $1,000 to the City's Housing Rehabilitation Program and shall perform <br /> weatherization in conjunction with the City's Housing Rehabilitation Program. North Peninsula <br /> Neighborhood Services Center will do any and all work necessary to meet health, safety and security <br /> standards, not to exceed the average household cost for minor repair and weatherization items. <br /> The following is a list of the work that will be performed: <br /> Doors and window repair/replacement including screen doors/windows <br /> Plumbing fIxtures repaired/replaced <br /> Porch steps reinforced/repaired <br /> Floor/wall repair <br /> Installation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors <br /> In addition North Peninsula Neighborhood Services Center will provide the following weatherization <br /> measures as needed to approximately 25 of the 50 homes listed above at no cost to the Housing <br /> Revitalization Program: <br /> Energy education and assessment <br /> Attic insulation <br /> Door weatherstripping <br /> Water heater wrap <br /> Furnace fIlters <br /> Energy effIcient showerhead <br /> Electrical outlet gaskets caulking <br /> # of Persons/ <br /> Goals Households Completion Date <br /> Home Repairs 50 6/30/96 <br /> Weatherization 25 6/30/96 <br />
