<br /> , _INAL <br /> ~ <br /> (08/28/98) <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Center For Domestic Violence Prevention <br />J; THIS AGREEMENT. made and entered into this ~ day of <br />~r .1996. by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. a municipal <br />corporation of th£ State of Callfornta ("City") and Center For Domestic Violence Prevention, a <br />California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides the only emergency and transitional shelter for victims <br />of domestic violence and their children in San Mateo County; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br />for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, <br />1997; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Fifteen Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifteen <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997, solely for the purposes described <br />in paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br />solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement <br />which are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without <br />the prior written consent of City. <br />
