To provide a quality preschool experience to at least 30 four <br /> year-old children which will prepare them for kindergarten <br /> and lay a foundation for them to be successful In school and In <br /> their community. <br />2. To provide two parent education workshops during the school <br /> year to educate parents on such topics as discipline, child <br /> development, nutrition, and the effect of violence In the lives <br /> of children. <br />3. To provide staff development opportunities Including 2 <br /> workshops and/or conference each and tuition and books for <br /> two three unit classes at the community college to keep the <br /> staff current In trends In early childhood education. <br />
