• Monthly — Compilation of daily activity reports, separate activity report for each <br />activity day, each activity (e.g. monitoring / survey, spraying, harvesting, <br />trash/cleanup, etc.), using form provided by City or equivalent. <br />• October 31 — End of season summary, indicating plant growth observations and <br />trends, assessment of control strategies, and recommendations for the coming year. <br />d. Mechanical Harvestine. Following the draft Lagoon Management Plan: Redwood Shores <br />Lagoon, July 2003, as amended, identify needs, set schedules, notify and advise the City <br />on recommended mechanical harvesting. Provide skilled staff, equipment and materials to <br />carry out work safely and pursuant to County, State and Federal laws. <br />e. Chemical Applications. Following the draft Lagoon Management Plan: Redwood Shores <br />Lagoon, July 2003, and any amendments thereof with the exception of the use of the <br />copper -based algaecides EarthTec, AgriTec and Cutrine-Plus, identify needs, set <br />schedules, notify and advise the City of recommended algaecide and herbicide treatments. <br />Quickly process the needed changes to amend the current Aquatic Pesticide Application <br />Plan (APAP) to include Green Clean Liquid 2.0 (only Green Clean Liquid 2.0, as no <br />granular versions will be allowed due to lack of efficacy on filamentous algae) to the <br />approved list of algaecides available for use on Redwood Shores lagoon and have it <br />approved by the State and Regional Water Quality Control Boards. Provide state licensed <br />and / or certified skilled staff, equipment and chemicals to carry out work applications <br />safely and pursuant to County, State and Federal laws and to be able to. Specify name(s) <br />of the registered pesticide applicator(s) that will perform chemical application activities. <br />f Equipment. Dedicate the following equipment to the project for the term of the Agreement: <br />A minimum of two (2) aquatic harvesters to assist in aquatic weed and algae removal. <br />Provide contingency / back up plan to ensure continual service to Redwood City, <br />particularly during the high plant growth period, in the event of equipment failure or <br />maintenance. <br />g. Lagoon Manaeement Plan. Work with the City of Redwood City to update the draft Lagoon <br />Management Plan: Redwood Shores Lagoon, July 2003 to incorporate all changes required <br />since 2003 to perform maintenance operations on Redwood Shores Lagoon. <br />h. Communication Protocols. Provide and adhere to the approach to and standards for <br />communications articulated by Contractor in proposal with regards to communications <br />with City staff, the City's water quality sampling consultant (see "i" below), and residents, <br />especially with respect to notification of residents about actions, i.e. chemical applications, <br />that will restrict recreational activities and with respect to the Contractor's complaint <br />resolution process. <br />Coordination. Communicate and coordinate its chemical treatment schedule with the <br />City's independent water quality monitoring / sampling consultant (and City's Utilities <br />Specialist) by providing advance notice of a minimum 48 -hours prior to any chemical <br />treatments to allow for pre-treatment sampling and 24-hour notice following treatments for <br />post-treatment water sampling in compliance with the City's Water Quality Monitoring <br />Plan, also contained in the City's draft Lagoon Management Plan: <br />Redwood Shores Lagoon, July 2003. <br />ATTY/AGR/2017.182/WATERWORKS INDUSTRIES, INC. <br />REV: 08-14-17 MI <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
