Overview of the Appeal <br />●The Planning Commission decision should be overturned because the <br />Proposal does not meet the required findings for the CEQA and the <br />Conditional Use Permit (CUP) due to land use incompatibility and safety <br />matters. <br />●The proposed location of Rocketship is unsafe for the children and families <br />that will use the school, while also creating additional liability, traffic, and <br />parking issues in the area. <br />●Safer, more appropriate locations for Rocketship’s school should be sought <br />using Community Benefits Agreements (CBAs) and other Developments <br />under negotiation as leverage.
